Calves in a field @ Cenarth @ Ceredigion

The welsh countryside is full of activity especially in the fields round the county of Ceredigion. I'm not 100% sure but I think these calves are reared on Organic land, they certainly have a lot of life in them.  There mothers also have a lot to put up with as even when suckling they act extremely boisterously.

Dinner time!

A young hopefully looking for an adventure.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

Crabbing @ Patch - Gwbert @ Ceredigion

A couple of hours down on the jetty at patch in Gwbert was the the perfect way to spend a wet afternoon.  Full waterproofs were required though to stop us getting washed away!

Baby Swallows @ Our Barn @ Ceredigion

Baby Swallow in the Barn
The picture is quite fuzzy as the barn is dark and the only way I could get a clear picture without using a flash was to turn the ISO up.

I've been looking on the internet to try and identify them, and I'm quite sure they are swallows and not house martins. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

The nests are in the barn and not on the outside and they are swooping in and out on a regular basis.

August @ National Botanic Garden of Wales

It started off as wet, but the wind soon blew the clouds away allowing us to enjoy a beautiful day at the Botanic Garden.  I really didn't know what to expect but I was truly surprised, what a great day!
